WE HAVE THE SECRET THAT CAN CHANGE THE TRAJECTORY
There’s something to consider here. A student is influenced by the general environment of hate toward Jews, but is then quickly influenced by his more personal environment. This is how we are all buffeted by the winds of opinion that permeate the very air around us.
A recent research study demonstrated that only a small fraction—about 10%–of individuals who are committed to a point of view in a particular environment will sway the opinion of all the others to agree with them. As Antisemitism again rears its ugly head we will begin seeing this threatening shift occur in many environments.
We can change the trajectory. We are small in numbers among the seven billion of the world, but we have a secret. We know deep down inside us that the unity created by Abraham and his group of followers can be replicated today because we know how to do it. It is, so to speak, in our genes. And once WE learn to create this state of mutual guarantee among ourselves, the force will be formidable quickly spreading throughout the world. Our numbers, though small, will create the power to have this influence.
